We have now completed 5 months of fundraising where Sam and Jenna have completed various challenges and events to raise as much money as possible for Children In Need. Month 6 however is really something special!
On the 17th of June, along with 25 of our lovely colleagues from Welcome Break Fleet, we tackled the seriously fun 5k inflatable obstacle course. 5 kilometres of running, climbing, sliding and in some cases falling around the course and lots of amazing obstacles. What an amazing way to raise some cash for Pudsey!
As you can see from the photo above Team Fleet were well and truly up for the challenge! Once we arrived at Southampton we even got a Pudsey TShirt and a fun aerobic warm up! Even managed to squeeze in a little bit of planking before hand.
As far as 5k runs go this one was insanely fun! A lot more about teamwork than winning and a brilliant day out for a really good cause.
Some of the team got round the course super quick and were on hand to take some hilarious videos at the end.
It was so much fun to have our friends and colleagues join us on one of our wacky adventures and we wish we could do it all again!
Here we are very achy, burnt and tired but proud! Thank you to everyone at Children In Need for putting on such a great event, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and shall update with how much money we raised shortly!
There are still dates for Gung Ho this year and we would really recommend that you go and give it a go! You can visit the Gung Ho website by clicking here.

May was a busy busy month for us work wise but no fear we still managed to squeeze in a little bit of fundraising with Pudsey!
Pudsey braved the May Bank Holiday heat to visit all the kids (and Adults!) at Fleet Services enjoying the bank holiday.
Over £106 raised thanks to the wonderful customers at Fleet Services, thank you Pudsey!
We are now at nearly £900 for Pinky and Perky’s Children In Need Challenge! Thank you for your support, please keep donating, liking, tweeting, sharing and following!
It is 2am and we can’t sleep.
We have resorted to doing laps around the service station to try and get rid of some of the achiness from laying on the floor for hours. We then decided to hunt down some cardboard boxes and made ourselves a cardboard bed to sleep on which made things a little more bearable while we were trying to sleep. Currently cannot decide which is worse at the moment: the cold or how uncomfortable the floor is.
Hopefully with the new cardboard bed we should be able to get a few hours sleep before people start coming in tomorrow morning. This is definitely a lot more challenging than we thought it would be.
See you soon

We checked our Just Giving page before we went to bed and we have had some of the most amazing donations since our first facebook live video!
Thank you to all you guys who have donated to Children In Need tonight, it really has made our evening knowing that we are making a difference by doing this.
We won’t name people as we know that not everyone will want their name put on a public blog but we just want you to know that we are so grateful and your donations are going to make such a difference to children and young people all over the country.
We did also receive one anonymous donation for the huge sum of £100 and a personalised poem! We have no idea who you are and if you wish to keep it that way then of course that is okay but we just want you to know that we are so very thankful for your support! Below is the poem that was left for us:
To take on 1 challenge is certainly cool. To take on 12 some may say your a fool! To those who may doubt you, dont give a f#ck I think your’e brilliant and wish you good luck!
Thank You guys for your continuous support!

Well it appears we have been rather active in terms of videos since we last saw you all. It is now dark, we are very tired, still uncomfortable. We are now snuggled up in our sleeping bags with our little bobble hats on feeling very cold indeed!
We did another facebook live post around 20:30 and got an amazing response from so many people. Thank You to everyone who joined us for facebook live it was good to speak to you all and we felt very loved indeed!
Shortly after this video it got very cold and the bobble hats had to come out. To Sam’s great amusement Jenna’s bobble hat was missing a bobble due to being eaten by the family dog. Below are both our youtube 10pm update and our 10pm goodnight facebook live!
Did tell you we got a little bit video happy!
Off to try and get some sleep we shall see you all soon!

Just a quick update. We are nearly halfway through the 24 hours now with 14 hours left to go. The rain has stopped thankfully but the sun has gone round the other side of the building so it is now a lot colder and we have started layering up.
We are cold, hungry, uncomfortable but still smiling!
Still lots of generous donations being received both on site and online so that is fabulous thank you so much!
We will be back around 10 pm with another update before we try and get some sleep!

Here is our 2pm update. We have been sitting at the services in our little camp for 6 hours now and are surprised at how generous people have been! Lots of money currently being raised for Pudsey and the amazing folk at BBC Children In Need which is fabulous.
Good old British weather did not let us down and the heavens have well and truly opened. The weather forecast did say rain from 1pm and exactly on schedule all of our lovely sunshine vanished and the rain began. We have resorted to hiding out under some clear recycling bags in an effort not get get absolutely drenched by the rain. So far this has been unsuccessful.
But now we are going to go back in time a bit: We did manage to get this photo before the rain started! As you can see our camp is very small so does not provide much protection from the rain. People keep telling us we should have got a bigger tent, but it would not be a challenge if it was easy! Main use for the tent is to keep our phones and stuff in to make sure they do not get wet, sadly it is not big enough for us to sleep in!
Also before the rain we thought we’d do a facebook live video to all the people on facebook who regularly support us. We also learnt something very important today. When we film for youtube we have to have the camera landscape but for facebook live it needs to be portrait. Who knew! This means you’ll have to turn your head 90 degrees to watch us. We apologise and will not make this mistake again! Also this sadly means you can’t fullscreen us, but that’s ok because we look better from further away! As you can see it was very sunny here before the rain appeared! Hence the sunglasses!
Even with the rain we are still smiling! See you all soon for another update and thank you for all your donations so far!
